Tungstate Radical Concentration Test
Tungstate radical concentration test method can be thiocyanate fast absorbing spectrophotometry, it is suitable for micro content of tungstate radical in circulating cooling water and natural water, its content is over 0.2mg/L.
Testing steps
1. Water samples to be tested under the conditions of parathion mixed acid, add stannous chloride to reduce iron, reduce tungsten titanium trichloride to lower valance state.
2. And then forming a yellow-green complex with thiocyanate, and spectrophotometric determination of tungstate concentration.
Chemical equation is:
H3PO4·12WO3+12TiCL3+48NaSCN+48HCL=12Na{WO(SCN)4}+12TiCL+36NaCL+24H2O+H3PO
3.Calculate tungstate radical concentrate by X=MV, M stands for tungstate radical content(mg), V stands for volume of water sample(mL)。
